Dr. Peg Murphy has over 20 years of experience in critical care nursing including postoperative care in cardiac surgery, heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. She spent over 12 years as a bedside nurse and the past 11 years as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She holds DNP and MSN degrees from Duke University. Staff education, patient safety and interdisciplinary communication are her areas of interest.
