Richa Agarwal, MD, FACC is an Associate Professor at Duke University School of Medicine and the Program Director for the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship. She is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowships at The University of Chicago and New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. She has over 10 years experience specializing in heart transplantation, mechanical support, and pulmonary arterial hypertension. She has been a member of the Duke Heart Transplant Team since 2018. Her area of interest is in managing pulmonary vascular disease in complex organ transplant candidates and in the LVAD population.
