Michelle Ferri is an experienced and dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in cardiac critical care and ECMO. Originally from outside of Chicago, Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Illinois State University before advancing their education at Georgetown University, where she completed a Master of Science.
Since 2016, Michelle has been practicing in Northern Virginia, where she currently serves as the lead advanced practice provider for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and ECMO. In this role, she provides specialized care for patients with cardiogenic shock, heart failure, and other complex cardiac conditions, utilizing their extensive expertise in advanced cardiac life support and cutting-edge technologies.
In addition to clinical practice, Michelle is passionate about education and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. She teaches graduate-level Acute Care Nurse Practitioner students at Georgetown University, where she contributes to shaping the future of nursing practice by sharing their knowledge and experience in cardiac critical care.
