Joseph Lerman MD

Dr. Joseph Lerman is the Chief Cardiology Fellow at Duke University Hospital, and an NIH-supported research fellow at the Duke Clinical Research Institute. He completed Internal Medicine training at Duke University. His research focuses on optimizing clinical outcomes for patients with Advanced Heart Failure. In particular, he is interested in understanding how novel donor heart procurement strategies can more effectively expand the donor pool.
