Darbi Andes BS, RN, CEN, CCTC, VAD-C

Darbi Andes is a Heart Transplant and LVAD Coordinator at UVA Health in Charlottesville, Virginia. After beginning her career in the Emergency Department in 2009, she transitioned to the Advanced Heart Failure and LVAD team in 2018.

Drawing on her expertise in emergency medicine and mechanical circulatory support, Darbi led the development and implementation of the "Blast Page" workflow- a multidisciplinary communication strategy recognized as a Best Practice by The Joint Commission. Her passion focuses on optimizing emergency department throughput and enhancing safety for durable MCS patients through standardized, automated clinical pathways.
