Meghan Emig MPAS, PA-C

Meghan E. Emig, MPAS, PA-C, Assistant Vice President for Sanger and Heart & Vascular Institute within Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC. Meghan leads the Cardiovascular Programs at Sanger such as Advanced Heart Failure, Atrial Fibrillation Center of Excellence and Valve Center. She has served Sanger’s cardiology patients at since January 2009. Meghan received her Bachelor of Health Sciences from Gannon University in 2003, and completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Science in 2004. Meghan has assisted in the planning, implementation and execution of multiple Heart Failure clinics, the Heart Failure Diagnostic Remote Monitoring program, various heart failure technology programs, and the Atrium Health readmission reduction strategies. Prior to joining Sanger, Meghan worked as a Physician Assistance for the Madigan Army Medical Center. She has contributed towards, and presented, research at numerous scientific meetings, and is Sub-investigator on several clinical trials testing novel therapies in heart failure.
