Dr. David Majure MD, MPH

Dr. David Majure is the Medical Director of the Heart Transplant Service at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Majure received his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and received a Masters in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He then completed his training in cardiology and advanced heart failure at the University of California, San Francisco, where he also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine. He subsequently served as Director of Research of the Advanced Heart Failure Program at the MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining NYP/Weill Cornell, he developed the left ventricular assist device program at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, NY. Dr. Majure has contributed extensively to research and has served as principal investigator in multiple clinical trials, exploring all aspects of advanced heart failure.
