3. Review the role of echocardiography in the diagnosis and management of heart failure patients (systolic and diastolic dysfunction).
4. Discuss clinical situations that outline the use of this diagnostic study.
5. Review the most recent ACCF/AHA & HFSA Heart Failure Guidelines for the use of echocardiography in heart failure patients
1. The participant will describe methods for diagnosing COVID-19 associated myocarditis.
2. The participant will list at least 2 interventions for the management of COVID-19 associated myocarditis.
3. The participant will explain the relationship between m-RNA COVID-19 vaccines and myocarditis
1. Discuss the evidence for the use of SGLT2 inhibitors in the management of heart failure
2. Review the clinical evidence for the use of soluble guanylate cyclase stimulator in the management of heart failure
3. Describe therapies on the horizon in clinical trial for heart failure
1. The participant will know the signs of Cardiogenic Shock.
2. The participant will identify the categories of Cardiogenic Shock.
3. The participant will understand the temporary devices used to care for the patient in Cardiogenic Shock.
